After working in retail and in offices for over thirty years, I needed a change. Given my love of animals, a job as a pet sitter seemed like a perfect fit. I love animals because they are cute, furry, and genuine.
My father loved dogs, so we always had and raised quite a few puppies. We also had rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, and hamsters. My mother’s people live on farms, so there were cows and chickens to tend to.
When I moved into my own apartment, I got a cat; he was a stray, and I named him Mischief. Cats are what I tend to be drawn to most. I now live with a roommate and my two rescue cats. They are mixed breed. One is a calico named Snittles. The other is a dark gray named Baz, and she is missing a front leg.
I grew up in Alexandria, Louisiana, and attended Alexandria Senior High School. I moved to The Woodlands five years ago. The rest of my family lives in Louisiana and Florida.
In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, painting, playing with my kitties, going to concerts and out to eat, and playing video games.
