I love animals, whether domesticated or in the wild, which made a job as a pet sitter appealing. My favorite thing about animals is the unconditional love that they give.

I have always had animals. My first pet was a male cockatiel. He had beautifully colored feathers. I also had fancy mice, a hamster, and two cats I loved; one was a stray I brought in and a dog I loved very much. She was a half mix of a miniature Schnauzer and a miniature Scottish Terrier, resulting in the breed named Schnotty. She was very smart and loving. She would always greet everyone by laying down on her back to be given a belly rub. She could also play soccer very well and score goals. I don’t have any pets right now, but I would love to have a Norwegian Elkhound.

I am originally from Greeley, Colorado, and have lived most of my life in The Woodlands since 1995. I attended College Park High School and was the first graduating class there. After graduating high school, I went to Lone Star College for two years and then transferred to a trade school for mechanics. Several years later, I returned to school, where I was in my senior year, to receive my Bachelor of Science in Geography with a minor in Business.

Previously in my career path, I was as an automotive and light diesel/industrial mechanic, as well as a produce representative for H-E-B.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy amateur astronomy, which means I’m not just the average stargazer; I catalog astronomical events and track the movement of satellites and other space-related objects. Adding to my myriad of collections, I have an extensive rock collection, with one such rock being a piece of King Arthur’s Throne in Camelot!
