Tracy grew up in Northern Ireland, where she worked as a consultant in planning, energy, and environmental management for a large construction and quarrying company. In 2012, she moved with her husband and dogs to Magnolia, Texas. With that change came a chance to follow her heart: a lifelong love of animals. Inspired by the trust, love, and loyalty she’s always found in pets, Tracy began a new journey as both a pet sitter and a professional dog trainer.
Dogs and cats have been part of Tracy’s life from the very beginning, but she has a special place in her heart for birddogs and herding breeds like Labradors, working cocker spaniels and cattle dogs. Tracy says “You need a sense of humor and humility to live with a cocker spaniel but they’ll also keep you laughing even when you don’t think you can. They are amazing little dogs!” Today, she and her husband share their home with five rescue dogs: Danae, Lara, Nell, Bella, and Forest. Each one brings joy, affection, and a unique personality into their daily lives.
When she’s not training dogs or managing The Bryi’s Pet Sitting, Tracy loves spending her free time outdoors with a camera in hand, capturing wildlife through photography, or diving beneath the waves to explore the underwater world. Whether on land or in the sea, in the tropics or polar regions, she finds joy in observing the beauty of animals in their natural environments.
