For Julie, pet sitting is the perfect way to blend her love for animals with her passion for helping people. She knows firsthand how important it is for pet owners to feel their furry family members are safe and loved while they’re away, and she takes pride in providing that peace of mind. Growing up with pets taught her the responsibility and joy of caring for them, and she finds it endlessly rewarding to get to know each pet’s unique personality.Julie shares her home with two beloved dogs, Darby and Ollie. Darby, an 11-year-old rescue husky, is a fearless, quirky daredevil who has even taught Ollie — a gentle giant rescued through Operation Pets Alive — how to howl. Their “conversations” fill the house with laughter, and their energy keeps the family active and busy. Over the years, Julie has cared for many pets — from Maltese to Beagles to tuxedo cats, hamsters, and even a long-lived fish named Wingman — each leaving their pawprint on her heart.Originally from Houston, Julie has lived in The Woodlands for about 15 years. She previously spent 17 years working in foster care and social work before joining The Bryi’s, a career that taught her empathy, patience, and resilience. At home, she and her family love cheering on the Astros and Texans, hosting friends for cookouts, and decorating their “Halloween house.” A baseball fan through and through, Julie also enjoys traveling — whether it’s a road trip or catching Astros games across the country.
