I’m originally from England and moved to America when I was 3. I have lived in Alabama, Vermont, Colorado, and then Texas, and I’ve been in this area for 25 years. Previously, I was my husband’s company’s secretary/office manager.
I have always loved animals. I’m one of those people who think that animals should be treated as family members. I believe they help us stay healthy and happy. I once had a goat named Nanny who was the neatest animal I’ve ever had. She ate everything, but she was so nice. She was like a dog. She would sit on the porch and tell us when people would drive up. When I got off the bus, she would come and say hi to me.
Jason and I live in the area and have four great children together. We also have an 8-year-old yellow lab named Zelda and a 6-year-old Yorkie named Daisy. My cats are Rosie, who is 6, and Libby, who is 13. We have 2 goldfish, one black fish, and a guinea pig named Matthew.
I enjoy taking care of my plants and reading mysteries. I like to cook but I’m not very good at it! Other than that, I spend time caring for my animals — brushing the cats and washing the dogs. Sometimes I combine my interests and brush the cat while reading a book!
